For jobseekers

You have rewritten it six times.

Nobody has told you which part they read.

Every piece of CV advice you have been given is somebody’s opinion about a document they have not watched anyone read. Move the summary up. Cut it to one page. Lead with results. All of it plausible, none of it measured, and none of it about your CV.

Send your next application as a tracked link and you get the thing the advice was standing in for: which sections were read, in what order, and where the reading stopped.

The question this answers

“Did they even look at it?”

That question has had no answer for as long as people have sent CVs, so everybody guesses, and the guess is usually the least kind explanation available. It is answerable. It has just never been measured at the level that would answer it.

Example — how far 100 readers gotReaders

Half the readings are gone by Projects. The steepest single losses are marked. Point at a row for its numbers.

Readings that reached the sectionof 100 opens

Illustration of the shape, not a recording. Your own CV produces its own, and it is rarely the one you expect.

What you get, and what it is for.

Five things. Each one says what it is, what it does, and what changes about your next application because of it.

  1. 01

Seconds on each section, not on the page

Your CV is one document and ten named sections. Every other tracker reports a page number, and a CV is page one. This times each section separately, and counts 30 seconds or more as having been read rather than glanced at.

You find out that the summary you rewrote four times was skipped entirely.

  2. 02

    One named link per application

Send a different link to each company. Every open, and how long it was read, arrives attached to the role you sent it for.

Silence stops being a feeling. An application nobody opened is a different problem from one they read twice.

  3. 03

What to change, ranked, with the reading attached

Suggestions come from what the readings show: a section nobody reaches, an order that loses people, a page that ends before your best work does.

The next version is an edit you can point at, not a redesign you hope helps.

  4. 04

    The same CV, sent twice

Compare the readings before and after an edit, section by section, so you can see whether the change moved attention or just moved words.

    Send 1 · as written63s held
    Name & contactInterests
Send 2 · Projects moved up, Interests cut80s held
    Name & contactEducation

+17s total attention held on the second send

2s → 17s on Projects once it sat above the fold

1 → 0 sections never reached, after the cut

Proof the edit worked. Or proof it did not, which is worth as much and takes less time to learn.

  5. 05

Free to build, and yours to take

One CV, 9 templates and a real PDF with no watermark, without a card and without a trial that bills on day eight. Measurement starts at €29 a month.

You can use the builder, export the document and leave, and nothing you made stops working.

The examples stop here. Your own report, section by section and in the order it was read, starts on the first link you send.

Building is free, and so is one tracked link with the whole report on it. A link per application is Professional.

Four things it does not do.

Cheaper to read now than to discover after paying.

It measures links, not inboxes
If a recruiter downloads the PDF and forwards it internally, the trail stops at the download. Anything claiming to follow a document around a company it has been forwarded inside is overstating what is possible.
The recruiter can switch it off
Every tracked CV tells its reader what is recorded, and gives them a control. If their browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track we stop before they arrive. That is deliberate, and it means some readings will never exist.
It says what happened, never why
A CV nobody opened may mean the role was filled, or that they only read attachments, or that you were wrong for it. The product does not know which, so it does not guess, and it will not tell you that you were rejected.
Building is free. So is the first reading.
The builder, the templates, the export and one tracked link cost nothing and always will. What the €29 plan sells is a named link for every application at once, because running many at a time is the part with a cost behind it.

Send the next one as a link.

You are going to rewrite this CV whether you pay us or not. The only question is whether the next version is based on what somebody actually read.

No card to start. Building and exporting stay free.
